About Gucci
At the cutting edge of fashion, Italian brand Gucci is one of the powerhouses of the luxury market. Ever popular with royalty, film stars and models, Gucci glasses are the byword for high end style.
Gucci is the brand of choice for making a statement with bold embellishments and the iconic interlocking-G Gucci logo and horse bit feature making an instantly recognisable declaration of luxury. Gold or silver detailing is often a feature on Gucci glasses, making them ideal for adding that extra element of eye-catching glamour.
The Gucci glasses collections feature a range of models which offer a perfection combination of style tallied with meeting all your needs in a pair of glasses. The collection sees a refined style throughout, with every pair offering a modern, elegant appeal for both men and women.
Men’s and women’s fully rimmed and semi-rimmed glasses come in a wide choice of plastic or metal frames in a large range of sizes, shapes and shades. Women’s acetates are produced in stunning colours echoing the bold design ethic of the Gucci fashion house, including shocking pink, yet are relatively unadorned. The metal range is more bejewelled and will add plenty of Italian panache to any outfit
All our Gucci glasses are Italian made and are delivered to you with a Gucci-branded cleaning cloth and an authentic Gucci case.
A history of Gucci
The Gucci label started as a luxury leather goods company when founded in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci. Gucci had worked at London’s Savoy Hotel and used his native Tuscan craftsmanship to produce goods that he thought would appeal to the English nobility. The brand was an immediate success and has grown into the biggest-selling Italian brand in the world. Continued success for the brand was not a smooth ride, with family feuds and disagreements marring progress, however these were each eventually overcome and the company progressed forward.
Over the decades Gucci continued to develop iconic products, including perfumes, glasses, sunglasses and other accessories that were adopted by the rich and famous including Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelley, Liz Taylor and Princess Diana. Today they continue to dress the biggest starts of the moment from Madonna to Keira Knightley.
