A history of D&G
The D&G brand is the newer of the two lines within the luxury fashion house of Dolce & Gabbana . a company started by the Italian designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana in Milan in the mid-eighties. D&G is a slightly more casual line that was created ten years into the company’s history and is designed to be a trendsetter and a noisemaker. It is the younger, more seasonal and more flamboyant line of the brand, and is distinctive from its older sibling Dolce&Gabbana that specializes in more timeless, formal luxury fashion.
