   This site belongs to WantGlasses Ltd trading as WantGlasses.co.uk. It is intended for those wanting to know more about our business and for people wanting to buy our glasses. If you use the site and/or submit an order, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your personal data. How we do this is explained in this policy. 2. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

   When you browse the site, our web servers collect navigation data. When you send us an e-mail or complete the order form, data concerning your identity and e-mail address is collected. We might also take identity data when you register for online ordering, and we also collect medical data through prescriptions and other medical documents. This data will be stored only for the time it takes to fulfil your order, including post-sales support.

3. WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR DATA?

   Your IP address will be collected when you visit the site, as well as site navigation data. If you register to have access to restricted areas, we will also collect your username.

   We use this information to improve the site and the service we offer to you. It will never be used to create a profile around you and we will never track your individual movements around the site, unless you tell us you have navigation problems.

   When you e-mail us through the site, you give us basic information about yourself. We will use this information only to reply to you, to tackle your query or consider your feedback. Your data will be kept on our secure servers and will not be visible to any third party. In some situations, outlined below, we may provide it to others.

   On the order form, you provide us with personal information as well as that supplied on your prescription or other documents. We process this data so that we can deliver your goods or carry out any other obligations we have to you, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. If all you want is product information, without registering, e-mail us or telephone us.

   If you ask for news updates, we use your data solely for that purpose. We will not send you junk mail and your details will not be passed on to any third party without your permission, except as stated in this policy (in 4 below) and in our Terms and Conditions.

4. GIVING DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

   We do not give your data to third parties. Your data might be sent to our laboratories or offices, or those of our representatives or other vendors, expressly and solely for the purpose of handling your order or query.

   Occasionally, data we've collected might be sent to others for data processing. These might include people specified by you, third parties in connection with our legal obligations, operators acting on our behalf in any capacity, our laboratories and offices, other businesses for marketing purposes (if you tick the relevant box) or to the purchasing company, in the event of acquisition. Your data will be kept within Europe.

5. ALL ABOUT COOKIES

   When you go into a website, a small piece of data gets stored on your hard drive. This is called a cookie. WantGlasses.co.uk uses session cookies - which allocate a random ID number to your computer while you visit - to make your visit fast and easy. It is deactivated after 30 minutes of inactivity and automatically removes itself from your computer when the browser closes. We also use script-generated cookies for restricted areas. These identify you as a registered user, so you do not need to give us your details again.

   The companies that advertise on our site might also place a cookie file on your browser. We are unable to see the data collected, but we do not provide these third parties with your personal data. You can, of course, turn off your cookies function, although this is not recommended when making payments. More information is given below.

6. DISABLING COOKIES

   You can adjust the preferences on your browser to disable or reject cookies from all websites. This could mean not being able to use all parts of our site. Alternatively, you can delete old cookies, although this will not stop sites placing new cookies on your computer.

   You have the legal right to know whether we hold any personal data about you, to get a copy of it and to have it corrected when it is inaccurate or processed unlawfully. You also have the right to the legitimate processing of your data and to oppose the use of your data for solicitation.

   We cannot be responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we link to, which may be different from ours. It is up to you to decide if they are acceptable.
