What do I need from my optician to claim my NHS voucher through WantGlasses.co.uk?

You will need to ask your optician for your fully completed GOS3 Optical Voucher, your optician is entitled to give you this as long as you qualify for NHS help.

What does a NHS Optical Voucher form look like?

We have created a demo version of a GOS3 Optical voucher which will be the same for that you get from your optician ‘click here’ for more information on NHS Optical Vouchers click here

Who can claim NHS Optical Vouchers?
You can get vouchers towards the cost of glasses or contact lenses if you:

  • need complex lenses
  • are getting, or your partner gets:
    • Income Support

How much will the NHS pay towards my new glasses?
The actual value of your NHS Optical Voucher depends on the power of your spectacle prescription. This is indicated by a code (A, B, E, or F) this information can be found on the front of your GOS3 Optical Voucher form.
